In 2019, The Gifting Tree Foundation held its first fundraiser, the Aiken Oyster Roast.

Using event proceeds as well as their own personal donations, the founding members of The Gifting Tree Foundation began to award funds where they saw they could have the greatest impact – to both individuals in need and local nonprofits struggling to raise funds. The Gifting Tree Foundation continues to fundraise with the sole purpose of making a significant local impact.
